Topics include:
Writing Fantasy: The Genesis of Your World
What does it take to create a fantasy world, and how much is too much? In writing, setting is critical. But setting, just like character development and plot, must be
woven, not dumped, into a story. This workshop guides students to create a workable fantasy world, including geographic, cultural, and cosmic distinctions.
Fiction Writing: Using Your Right Brain in a Left Brain World
One of the first things authors are asked is, where do you get your stories? Writers
agree that while most ideas stem from observations of the outside world, the stories themselves spring from a place deep within. This presentation uses music and art to
guide participants into the world of their imaginations.
Other Topics Include:
Bringing Your Baby into the World:
Guiding Your Manuscript from the Conception of an Idea to Graduation into the Real World.
The Legend of Harry Potter: Comparisons to Ancient Mythologies
